Southern Water is dealing with a leak on Halfpence Lane, Cobham.
Their crews worked through the night to fix a burst on a 5” main, completing the repairs at approximately 4:30 am. However, due to further complications they are now dealing with a burst further along the pipe.
While they carry out the further repairs they need to close the road. At the moment, they do not know exactly how long the repairs will take but think the road will be closed for most of the day.
While the repairs are ongoing, some customers are experiencing low pressure or temporary loss of supply. They encourage any customers in the area to let us know if they experience this through social media or by calling 0330 303 0368 , particularly if they need extra assistance or need a continuous supply of water.
Bottled water is on its way and will be available at a distribution point in the village. Their social media will have regular updates about where bottled water is available.
