Anti-social behaviour and updates on previous issues:
The Street - We are still getting reports of concerns around speeding through The Street and this is being looked into with other partner agencies. I have had an update from KCC who had fitted a data logger on the road but this was only about to collect two days worth of data. KCC have requested that survey tubes are reinstated in September once the schools return as they should not be undertaking this type of survey in holiday periods. From the data that has been collected so far, it does show that the 20MPH speed limit is being well complied with but more data is yet to be collected. Myself and other rural PCSOs are still carrying out speed checks on The Street and other locations in Cobham.
Cobhambury Road - The wooded location is still being hit with anti-social behaviour but the Community Safety Unit as a whole are still working to tackle this issue. I am working closely with the land owners and hopefully we can put a stop to this soon. I still ask that when attending such areas throughout the whole rural area you are respectful and mindful of others.
