Forthcoming road closures

Because of carriageway patching, surface treatment and associated preparation, finishing and accommodation works, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on Various Roads, Dartford, Gravesham, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge & Malling and Tunbridge Wells, as per the schedule below.
 
This Order takes effect on or after 11 March 2019 for a period of up to 18 months or until the works have been completed. Planned dates will be published in advance of the works and indicated by signage displayed on site 14 days before they start.  Road closures and other restrictions will be in effect when the appropriate signage and barriers are in place.

The local roads affected will be:

​Gravesham

Wrangling Lane, Luddesdown
Road closed over entire length (Cul-de-sac)
 
Two Gates Hill, Higham
Road closed from Lower Rochester Road to B2000 Town Road
A diversion will be available via Lower Rochester Road and B2000 Town Road
 
Lower Rochester Road, Higham
Road closed from Gore Green Road to Two Gates Hill
A diversion will be available via Gore Green Road, Lillechurch Road and B2000 Town Road
       
Villa Road, Higham
Road closed from A226 Gravesend Rd to Forge Lane
A diversion will be available via A2 Gravesend Rd and Forge Lane
 
Cobhambury Road, Cobham
Road closed from The Street to Warren Road
A diversion will be available via The Street, Sole Street, Gold Street, Henley Street and Luddesdown Road
 
Nash Bank, Gravesend
Road closed from Downs Road to A227 Wrotham Road
A diversion will be available via Downs Road, Arcadia Road and A227 Wrotham Road
 
Dabbs Place, Cobham
Road closed from Copt Hall Road to Jeskyns Road
A diversion will be available via Church Road and Henhurst Road
