The road will be closed between the junctions of Cobhambury Road and Medway border.
The alternative route is via Cobhambury Road, The Street, Sole Street, Camer Road, Green Lane, A227, Harvel Road, White Horse Road, Birling Hill, Stangate Road, Snodland Road, Hollow Lane, Malling Road, A228 Snodland Bypass, Bush Road .
This is to enable Carriageway patching to be carried out by Kent County Council.
It is planned that the road will be closed between 07:00 and 19:00.
