The Clancy Group, on behalf of Southern Water, will be providing a banks man to allow all of the bus services to turn around at the mini roundabout by Cobham War Memorial.
Brian Jones Coaches who run the 311 School Bus from Higham to Meopham School have said they will be serving Sole Street and The Street at Cobham at their normal pick up times.
1st Bus Stop who run the 695 bus from Istead Rise to Rochester will also be serving Sole Street and The Street at their normal pick up times. Both bus routes will continue along Jeskyns Road and Henhurst Road to the A2 at Marling Cross.
Unfortunately Red Route Buses who run the 416 bus route from Meopham to Gravesend have said so far that they will not be serving Sole Street and Cobham whilst Halfpence Lane is closed. Red Route Buses have said that during the road closure the 416 will run along Wrotham Road (A227) to the Tollgate Junction and take the A2 to Brewers Road.
Rest assured that Kent County Council, The Clancy Group and Cobham Parish Council are doing everything in their power to encourage Red Route Buses to change their mind.
