Cobham Hall
Cobham Hall stands in parkland at the eastern end of the
village of Cobham and is reached by a drive which turns off the road to Shorne.
The hall is an imposing red-brick manor of the late Elizabethan period, to which many additions and alterations have been made over the centuries. The park is the largest in the south-east and was originally the hunting park of the de
Cobhams. The grounds were laid out in the early 18th century by Humphrey Repton.
On the chancel floor is the finest collection of medieval brass memorials in England, spanning the
years 1320 to 1529. Most of them commemorate members of the de Cobham and Brooke families

Cobham College
The college founded by Sir John de Cobham in 1362 as a chantry for priests is just south of the church. The buildings were converted into almshouses in 1598 and still serve that purpose today.
Owletts
A fine brick building,
built in 1684, stands in comparative isolation at the west end of the village.
Now owned by the National Trust and open April to October
